Woobius comprises a small, distributed team producing cutting edge collaboration software for the building & construction industry.

Our flagship collaboration service and namesake Woobius is quite unlike its competitors; adopting a mantra of simplicity and freedom that has won press coverage, industry awards, and recognition by websites such as TechCrunch and PSFK and publications such as Building and Construction Manager.

Our latest project Woobius Eye is a unique real-time visual communication tool and has also received press coverage and picked up two prestigious awards from Vodafone and MEX.

Joined the Flash development team in their London office on an enterprise integration for the Otto group.

Developed a Flash based social media website with a large distributed team. Initially I joined to help save the project from cancellation, but was quickly promoted to lead Flash developer.

Developed the site backend, and assisted in design integration.

Hosted streaming audio services for an online radio station. Also assisted in development of its website as well as routine maintenance tasks.

Co-developed a staff training CD for the Post Office Card Account. We built a simulator in which users could interact with new hardware and processes. The CD was distributed to the majority of Royal Mail employees where it received high acclaim.

I founded the popular MousePotato online gaming provider which at its peak boasted over a thousand players on four public servers, keeping records of achievements and leaderboards automated with custom scripts and utilities.

Developed an SMS gateway for B4U TV, allowing viewers to select music videos from a jukebox and broadcast messages on screen.

Created the Coopers of Stortford online store, including order processing, stock & customer management and offer code tracking.

Developed a PDF report generator for J2EE and a library to integrate with merchant services over X.25.

Developed a TTF to SWF convertor to allow UNICODE in Flash 5. Also optimized servers and redesigned the office LAN, adding VPN services and improving security.

Joined a large enterprise team replacing legacy credit card protection systems for Cendant. Also worked on various smaller projects and shared system and network administration duties.

Joined a small development team creating software for network protocol analysis. Also performed system and network administration duties, adding distributed source control and VPN services to allow remote development.

Joined the development team on their flagship financial software package. Also developed a native library to integrate Omnis with Crystal Reports.
